Temporary NJ Spanish Bilingual Legal Secretary ON-SITE

Description We are looking for a Spanish bilingual Legal Secretary to join our team on a contract basis in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role requires a detail-oriented individual to support attorneys with administrative and clerical tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Handle intake calls professionally, assisting personal injury attorneys by gathering essential client information.

Perform general clerical tasks, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence management.

Manage e-filing and court filings efficiently to ensure compliance with deadlines and procedures.

Coordinate and maintain attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, hearings, and meetings as needed.

Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and court personnel, ensuring clear and timely communication.

Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring accurate and updated records.

Provide administrative support during case preparation, including drafting basic legal documents and letters.

Assist with office operations to ensure a productive and organized work environment. Requirements - Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is required.

Proven experience in a legal secretary or administrative support role within a law firm.

Proficiency in e-filing and court filing processes is essential.

Strong organizational and calendar management skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.

Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures, particularly in personal injury cases, is preferred.
