Join Our Culinary Warehouse Team - Warehouse Associates Wanted!

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on an important role in a fast-paced warehouse setting? We're looking for reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team and help keep our operations running efficiently!

What You'll Do:

Receiving & Stocking: Accept deliveries, verify counts against receiving paperwork, and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.- Internal Support: Deliver requested supplies to various internal departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Inventory Control: Review requisitions for proper codes and approval signatures. Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.- Stock Maintenance: Keep shelves organized, check for damaged or outdated items, and ensure products are stored appropriately.- Clean & Safe Work Area: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, free of debris and safety hazards.- Accurate Paperwork: Complete all related documentation accurately and on time, including stock counts, requisitions, and delivery records.- Measure & Store: Accurately measure and distribute products as needed, and return unused items to proper storage areas following proper procedures.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Capable of lifting and moving products as required

Experience with inventory control and FIFO practices is a plus

A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn

Prior warehouse experience is helpful, but not required

$17.50 per hour

Requirements

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Certifications:

HACCP certification

HiLo/Forklift certification

Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

Unblemished Driver license or Forklift certification

Experience working in high volume warehouse preferred

Must speak, read and write English

Sit, walk, talk, and hear

Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

Be standing on feet majority of the workday in addition to walking back and forth.

Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Position sometimes requires extended hours including evenings and/or weekends.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically the packing and warehousing areas

Standing most of the workday is required.

Work requires movement in and out of storerooms, near heavy machinery and freezers

Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
