We are currently seeking exceptional Grade 8 Industrial Arts teacher candidates for the 2026-2027 school year at Central Middle School.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s Degree from an accredited college or university in the educational field

Applicants who will hold the following credentials by August 31, 2026 are welcome to apply. We will work with applicants whose license is in process.

Minnesota Teacher License: Industrial Arts (6-8)

We encourage all applicants to review the MN Tier License System (https://mn.gov/pelsb/assets/3453\2023\TieredLicensure\Infographic\tcm1113-584688.pdf) as we will work with applicants in applying for various Tier licenses that they may qualify

The district is willing to request an out of field permission license as needed

Compensation & Paid Leave

Starting salary for 1.0 FTE BA: $53,023 and MA: $64,910; licensed teaching experience considered for higher placement (prorated based on FTE)

Performance Awards available

Up to 12 sick days and up to 2 personal days of leave given yearly

Medical premiums are covered by the district up to $756 for individual plans and up to $1,315 per month toward family plans.

Dental premiums are fully covered by the district for individual and family plans

District contributions to VEBA/HRA accounts for select medical plans.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for pre-tax medical and dependent care

Retirement

403b with a district match of up to 2.25% of annual salary

District contribution of 9.81% to MN Teacher Retirement Association (TRA)
