Role Overview
The Director, BI & Supply Chain Analytics leads the enterprise analytics strategy for Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP), delivering the integrated insights, metrics, and scenario intelligence that enable executive planning decisions. This role establishes a single source of truth across demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning, ensuring consistent data, aligned metrics, and actionable analytics across functions.
As the analytics authority for SIOP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP), this leader integrates data from commercial, operations, and finance domains into executive-ready insights and scenarios. The Director partners closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Digital teams to prioritize analytics investments, advance planning intelligence capabilities, and ensure SIOP decisions are supported by trusted, consistent, and decision-grade analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise SIOP Analytics Strategy
Define and govern the enterprise SIOP analytics framework, including data models, metrics, and planning hierarchies
Establish a single source of truth across demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning data
Standardize planning KPIs, metric definitions, and calculation logic across functions and business units
Ensure alignment between operational, financial, and executive SIOP metrics
Integrated Planning Insights
Integrate demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and financial data into unified planning insights
Translate complex analytics into clear executive implications and trade-offs
Ensure consistent cross-functional visibility to risks, gaps, and opportunities
Partner with Finance to align SIOP analytics with financial plans and targets
Executive SIOP Scenario Analytics
Lead development of executive SIOP scenario modeling and decision analytics
Quantify service, cost, inventory, capacity, and revenue trade-offs across scenarios
Provide decision-ready recommendations for executive SIOP forums
Advance predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities in planning
Analytics Product & Roadmap Leadership
Define and prioritize the SIOP analytics and BI roadmap aligned to business strategy
Oversee development of dashboards, planning analytics products, and decision tools
Partner with IT/Data/Digital teams on data architecture, platforms, and automation
Drive adoption and business value realization from analytics investments
Data Governance & Metric Integrity
Ensure data consistency, reconciliation, and governance across planning domains
Establish controls for metric integrity, lineage, and traceability
Monitor and resolve cross-functional metric misalignment or data conflicts
Maintain documentation and standards for planning data and analytics
Team & Capability Leadership
Lead and develop BI and supply chain analytics managers and teams
Build enterprise planning analytics capabilities, methods, and standards
Promote advanced analytics, data science, and visualization best practices
Foster a culture of decision-centric analytics and business partnership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or related field (MS, MBA, or advanced analytics degree preferred)
12+ years of experience in analytics, supply chain planning, or business intelligence
5+ years leading analytics or BI teams in complex, cross-functional environments
Demonstrated experience in S&OP/SIOP or Integrated Business Planning analytics
Strong expertise in data modeling, BI platforms, and planning analytics tools
Proven ability to translate analytics into executive decisions and business outcomes
Solid financial and operational acumen

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150k-$215k + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
