Job Title: Process Technician

Job Description

As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating assigned production equipment, utilizing both automated equipment and manual placement techniques. Your main objectives will be to achieve high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity. You will monitor equipment operations to ensure assemblies are built according to specifications and comply with workmanship standards, conducting quality audits and troubleshooting when necessary.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate production equipment with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Monitor equipment operations to ensure compliance with workmanship standards.

Conduct quality audits and troubleshoot equipment to maintain production standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, and wiring diagrams.

Apply intermediate skills in MS Office applications, such as Word and Excel.

Read and comprehend load plans and identify components accurately.

Recognize and apply different @types of solder paste.

Utilize hand tools, including calipers, for equipment maintenance.

Troubleshoot and correct mechanical problems with production equipment.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality results.

Essential Skills

Experience in manufacturing, engineering, electrical, and mechanical processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent preferred - 1+ years of experience required for individuals without.

Work Environment

The role is based on the manufacturing floor with two shift options: first shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, or weekend shift, Friday to Sunday from 3:15 pm to 3:45 am. The position offers opportunities for overtime, with 40 hours per month available for a bonus. The company is experiencing growth, providing potential for career advancement into a Process Engineer role after understanding the process and product.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
