Position Overview The Supply Chain Simulation Analyst plays a pivotal role in revolutionizing warehouse operations and driving data-driven decision-making within our organization. This role is designed to leverage advanced analytical techniques and simulation technology to design, optimize, and implement optimized warehouse models that align with strategic goals while embodying the Company's core values and contributing to continuous improvement and growth. This role will oversee developing, running, analyzing, and assisting in the implementation of operational changes through modeling and simulation.

Description

Design, maintain, and enhance comprehensive warehouse models to accurately represent the facility's layout, operations, and processes

Execute and analyze what-if scenario simulations to optimize warehouse processes, layout and decision making

Present actionable recommendations to finance teams, operations teams, and senior leadership teams with clear, concise communication and visual representations. Present to Senior Leadership

Assist in the implementation of operational changes driven by simulation insights, collaborating with operational teams to ensure a seamless transition from simulation to real-world application to generate financial impact and ROI

Improve existing modeling and optimization tools, algorithms, and processes to better optimize network constraints and project flow

Collaborate with the other team members to enhance overall supply chain performance

Environment

Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F)

Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

Skills

Specialized Knowledge : Data analysis, predictive analysis, warehouse simulation, slotting optimization, procurement and operations research.

Special Skills : Data analysis, critical thinking and problem solving, experience in R, Python or SQL, Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex simulation findings to diverse stakeholders.

Physical abilities: : Primarily of?ce-based requiring working with screens and typing for extended periods, but some time in warehouses required which will require the ability to navigate and inspect warehouse facilities, lift moderate-weight items, and mobility for on-site visits in a warehouse environment.

Other: : Travel Requirement: Travel as needed to support analytics and for team development, anticipated at 10-20%

Other: : Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or a related field.
