Mechanical Process Engineer

A very reputable client of ours is seeking a mechanically focused Process Engineer to join their team. Candidates must have a background in fluid handling and be proficient in AutoCAD doing process flow diagrams. This role can work remote the majority of the time but will be expected to come into the office sporadically throughout the year. This role will also travel to client sites on average 10% of the time.

Job Title: Mechanical Process Engineer

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Pay Rate: 50-70hr, depends on experience

Key Responsibilities

Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD

Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems

Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc...

Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

5+ years of experience is required

Must be proficient in AutoCAD

Enjoy doing engineering calculations

Past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing etc...

Must be able to travel on average 10% of the time, domestically
