Farnsworth Group is seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer in one of the posting locations below. In this role, you will be focused on the planning, design, and management of various civil engineering projects including water/wastewater/stormwater for local and government agencies. Posting Locations for this role: Champaign, Effingham, Normal, Peoria, or Pontiac, IL What You'll Do:

Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies

Work with a variety of projects for municipal client needs related to water, sewer and streets

Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations

Perform condition assessments

Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans

Manage projects and programs from inception to completion

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

2 - 5 years of Civil Engineering experience

FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained

Experience with IDOT, MFT and local agency projects

Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D

Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation

Management, communication, and organization skills
