Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage incoming customer payments and maintain accurate financial records. This role involves research and resolution of payment discrepancies, collaboration with the AR team, and support in preparing AR-related reports.

Responsibilities

Accurately apply incoming customer payments to outstanding invoices.

Research and identify payment discrepancies such as short-pays and unidentified payments.

Collaborate with the AR team to ensure customer funds are appropriately applied.

Maintain accurate documentation of payment application activity.

Provide support in preparing AR-related reports as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in accounts receivable processes.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Experience in accounting and data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility in work hours. Available shift options include 8 AM to 4 PM EST and 9 AM to 5 PM EST. Successful candidates who outperform current employees may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position after the project.

This position is moving extremely fast as this is an urgent need for the client.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
