Position Title: Territory Sales Manager

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD

Department: Sales

Location: Indiana, United States, Remote

The Opportunity

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for sales activities and strategic sales plans to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction in the assigned territory. Builds, maintains and manages relationships with end users, contractors, key customer personnel. Provides deep product expertise and sales assistance to customers in all commercial product lines. Monitors results and develops plans to meet sales goals. Perform field sales to build relationships with customer accounts; assesses needs of accounts and ensures that solutions are offered, sold and followed through with; further develops and maintains accounts through technical support and account servicing.

Responsibilities:

Build account base by demonstrating products, services, and technical product solutions

Effectively manage a territory and maximizes business potential. Drives new customer business through networking, referrals, and cold calling. Conducts sales presentations and product demonstrations to contractors and direct customers.

Enters all Customer Opportunities into SalesForce and actively manages and maintains opportunity status.

Collect all customer requirements to quote Request for Proposals from customers including drawings, specifications and contract terms. Facilitate communications between AGI Quote Team and Customer to insure accurate cost estimating.

Works with internal departments and/or divisions to solve problems and develop solutions for customer accounts.

Strategizes with management to locate and maximize sales opportunities. Develops strategies and provides feedback to ensure we remain competitive in the market. Gathers and shares competitive information with appropriate internal departments.

Executes sales strategy within existing territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.

Assists with customer retention by being aware of competitive situations and meeting with the customers.

Builds relationships with customer decision makers and provide extraordinary customer service.

Ensures sales and retention goals for all products are met. Sources and manages distribution channels as needed.

Works jointly with other departments when working directly with customers to resolve customer concerns and complaints.

Assists in development of sales budget and subsequently ensures adherence to the budget numbers.

Completes and maintains sales reports, forecasts and customer data.

Supports regional, national, trade shows.

Qualifications:

Four-year high school education plus two year post high school education or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Two to four years of outside sales or customer service experience required. Grain Handling industry experience and technical knowledge of grain storage and handling preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Ability to travel as required in meeting essential duties and responsibilities. 60%-70%

Valid state Driver's License required.
