Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Director, Repairs you'll play a pivotal part on our Repairs team. The Repair Station Director oversees the planning, logistics, repair activity and customer services for aircraft interior parts in need of repair. They will manage the teams that are responsible for the activities necessary to run the repair station from end to end.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Drive the teams to adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
Ensure proper documentation of the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
Create and manage performance metrics. Work with the teams to analyzes variances to determine & implement corrective actions.
Develop strategic plans for resources required.
Sponsor problem solving, root cause corrective action and recovery planning.
Manage teams that process Warranty-repair orders/Claims.
Establish systems and processes to communicate with the other departments to resolve any issues that compromise the promised delivery date of the repaired part.
Sponsor the implementation of visual metrics, presentations and reports. Provide internal reporting, including project review presentations.
Develop and execute strategic plans to continuously improve TAT (Turn-Around-Time).
Manage the customer service representative team as the customer contact point for the repair station. Support any escalations or enquires. Ensure customers are kept informed through excellent customer service.
Sponsor the creation or improvement of repair station tracking reports.
Monitor repair station KPIs and reports for off-site repair shop within Safran.
Manage the teams that follow up with other Safran repair sites & vendors to ensure on time part delivery.
Manage the planning and logistics teams that support the repair station including; planners, stockroom clerks, coordinators, shipping clerks.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Oversees the duties of subordinate Managers and Supervisors, which supervise exempt and non-exempt employees in Repairs Departments.
The Director of Repairs is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the department's activities.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
General Duties:

The expected salary range for this position is between $133,230 - $209,360 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of supply chain and/or program management and/or operations in aerospace, automotive or mechanical manufacturing environment
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams.
Minimum of 2 years in a Part145 repair environment
Computer Skills:
Windows operating system, MS Word and Excel
Other Skills:
Previous experience in planning or managing projects, as well as, the ability to develop, lead, motivate working teams. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient ability to solve problems.
Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.
