Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Aviation Operations Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the life cycle logistics management related to all variants of Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) aircraft. You will collaborate with International Partner Nations and other Services on designing and developing a Supply Support Strategy. You will resolving significant operational problems which arise within assigned areas. You will have overall responsibility for provisioning, configuration control, life cycle support planning, technical data management, acquisition strategy, PSICP management of DLA managed material through direct coordination with partners. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications I have at least one year of Logistics Management Specialist specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience must include the following: 1) Supporting and managing the total life-cycle logistics, including developing and implementing sustainment strategies, making authoritative decisions on behalf of the command, and resolving critical readiness challenges impacting the Naval Aviation Enterprise; 2) Coordinating complex logistics with stakeholders like OPNAV, the U.S. Air Force, DLA, and international partners, as well as experience providing critical briefs on sustainment strategies to Flag Officers and members of the Senior Executive Service (SES); 3) Leading the command's interest in independently planning, directing, and monitoring supply operations; and 4) Making technical judgments on supply policy, developing new methods to resolve major operational problems, and ensuring that program recommendations are integrated across organizational boundaries within NAVSUP WSS and with external partners.
