Role Overview:

This position supports the maintenance and improvement of the agency's website by reviewing content, updating pages, and ensuring information stays accurate and user-friendly with a focus on document and overall web accessibility. As time allows, the role may also assist with broader communications ne eds such as creating fliers, developing content, and supporting special projects.This position runs through early August.

Pay Rate:

This position starts at an hourly rate of $16.24.

A Day in the Life:

The essential elements of the job duties:

Uploading documents to the public website.

Meeting with stakeholders to make content updates to the public website.

Developing accessible documents

Email composition, graphic design and other communications duties as time allows.

What You'll Need for Success:

This person must have the following requirements to be considered for employment:

Some college preferred.

Journalism, Strategic Communications/Public Relations, Digital Media, Communications

Experience in using a web content management system preferred.

Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Must possess good interpersonal skills and be team-oriented.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.

Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana:

This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
