Position: Loan Servicing Specialist\ \ Department: Loan Operations\ \ Location: Wichita, KS\ \ Status: FT/Hourly\ \ Jump start your career at Equity Bank! Responsibilities

This role provides essential support to the organization by ensuring

accurate and compliant loan servicing functions including but not limited to, servicing various @types of loans

Ensures proper booking of new loans, renewals, amendments and

letters of credit

Responsible to research and analyze requests for validity and within

scope of authority

Responsible for updating loan/customer information, loan coding,

collateral data, payment posting corrections and waiving fees or interest

Prepares payoff requests and completes Credit and Mortgage

verification requests

Handles incoming/outgoing telephone inquiries concerning loan

information

Perform other duties as assigned or required

Stays current in knowledge of software, bank products, rates, and

regulatory systems

Responsible for adhering to and complying with all Bank policies and

procedures, all applicable federal and state laws and regulatory guidance governing financial institutions

This position regularly works in an office setting

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Comprehensive knowledge of lending practices and procedures

Effective oral and written communications skill and the ability to

work well with others and interact with Banks Lenders and Officers

A critical thinker and problem solver with an eye on continuous

improvement

Ability to work independently with little supervision

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on

a regular basis

May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands

and arms

Requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds on

an occasional basis

Must be able to talk and listen to others

Frequently uses hands and fingers to handle or feel

Requires ability to see up close and distant, distinguish colors,

peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with

computers and electronic media on a regular basis
