As a Electronics Engineer - Level 1 located in Magna, UT, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

This position will be located at Magna Utah, Bacchus facility, primarily in a lab environment working closely with hardware and software engineers as well as electronic technicians. Will require periodic offsite support for implementation/testing efforts at nearby Clearfield and Promontory facilities, estimated at 10% time required outside of the Bacchus lab environment. You will be part of a small and talented Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering group focused on developing, manufacturing, testing, and implementing electronic equipment including various Automated Test Equipment rack designs.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including various Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

Assist in the development of hardware components and systems.

Assist in designing ATE architecture, including selecting commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) instrumentation like oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and power supplies.

Participate in troubleshooting hardware-software integration issues.

Keep clear records of designs, test, and version controls.

Assist in hardware schematic capture.

Write and execute unit, integration, and system level test plans. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (STEM) with 0 years of professional experience. · Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance

Proficiency with COTS implementation

Proficiency with Electric Circuit Analysis

Proficiency in Technical Troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Hardware Software Integration

Experience with Schematic Capture

Knowledge in Power Supplies

Experience in Software Development

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
