Summary You will serve as a Aircraft Carrier Repair/Inactivation Manager in the Waterfront Operations Department of SUPSHIP. Responsibilities You will execute Nuclear Aircraft Carrier Repair projects, availability and inactivation. You will ensure coordination of all tasks related to assigned projects, anticipate and assist in preventing costly delays, direct resolution of problems aligned with cost, scheduling and performance of a contact. You will ensure adequacy and management of funding for billions of dollars in Aircraft Repair. You will direct subordinates to ensure changes to contracts are properly processed. You will lead the cross organizational Aircraft Carrier Repair and Inactivation Project Management team. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing Government contractual and certification requirements associated with the construction, overhaul, and/or inactivation of nuclear aircraft carriers. Additional Information This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position has a control point; thus the salary range may be capped at GS-15, step 05, which is equivalent to $170,164. If you're current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
