Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Monroeville, Ohio. This role offers a great opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial management and accounting processes while working three days a week. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and a strong proficiency in Deltek software.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Handle bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.

Maintain and update the general ledger to support accurate financial reporting.

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Utilize Deltek software to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

Assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Deltek software.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Expertise in managing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.

Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

Familiarity with financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
