Join our engineering team building cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions that improve pharmacy workflows and patient care. You'll work on a distributed microservices architecture supporting prescription processing, insurance workflows, and pharmacy management systems.

You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain microservices supporting pharmacy workflows

Build integrations with external healthcare systems and APIs

Implement data processing pipelines for healthcare analytics

Write comprehensive tests and maintain high code quality standards

Collaborate on system architecture and technical decision making

Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior developers

Support production deployments and incident response

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of Python development experience

3+ years of experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS) or other cloud provider equivalents

2+ years of experience in async programming and modern Python patterns

2+ years of experience with RESTful API development

2+ years of understanding of relational and NoSQL databases

2+ years of Test-driven development mindset with pytest experience

2+ years of knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with serverless architecture and Lambda functions

Knowledge of healthcare/pharmacy domain or regulated industries

Background in event-driven microservices and service-oriented architecture

Experience with data validation, serialization/marshalling frameworks (Pydantic, Marshmallow)

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform)

Experience with flask/SQL alchemy or other modern MVC framework and ORM

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
