The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the IT Systems Specialist responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing IT systems to align with the unique business requirements of customer organizations, encompassing project management, program management, acquisitions oversight, risk management, and customer engagement. Responsibilities Coordinates and manages the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end. Manages the underlying information technology (IT) operational processes and functions that support the service. Reviews and edits appropriate Service-Level Agreements (SLAs), Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) and underpinning- contracts. Applies enterprise cybersecurity and supply chain risk management guidance for development of the Continuity of Operations Plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GG-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions for the GS-2210, Information Technology (IT) Management Series (Alternative A). Experience: Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Knowledge of the organization's enterprise information technology (IT) goals and objectives, to include the organization's core business/mission processes; industry-standard and organizationally accepted analysis principles and methods. 2. Knowledge of risk management processes and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements; information technology (IT) supply chain security and supply chain risk management policies, requirements, procedures, standards, processes, and practices; risk/threat assessment and ability to apply supply chain risk management standards. 3. Knowledge of system life cycle management principles, including software security and usability; information technology (IT) acquisition/procurement requirements and life cycle process; Supply Chain Risk Management Practices and ability to ensure security practices are followed throughout the acquisition process. 4. Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, network security methodologies, cybersecurity and privacy principles; cyber threats and vulnerabilities and of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses. 5. Skill in identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system; translate, track, and prioritize information needs and intelligence collection requirements across the extended enterprise. 6. Ability to evaluate/ensure the trustworthiness of the supplier and/or product and ability to oversee the development and update of the life cycle cost estimate. CONDTIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONT.: Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
