Responsibilities

Position Reports to :

Manager, Integration Accounting

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee the integration process of acquisition targets including, but not limited to, engaging with multiple stakeholders to implement financial/business processes

Perform financial and process due diligence of potential targets, including participation in the reporting process of findings

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders of the due diligence process

Prepare appropriate accounting for acquired targets including accounting for business combinations, valuation of acquired assets/liabilities , and establishment of entity within the Company's structure

Problem solve to integrate difficult systems, processes , or desired outcomes during targeting phase of acquisition and through to post-acquisition support

Participate in audit process of acquisition accounting , if necessary

Coordinate the transition of accounting services of acquired entity to facility accounting team

Prepare working capital true-up calculations for acquired targets

Prepare monthly balance sheet files for parent company

Perform month - end close procedures including preparing and recording manual journal entries

Analyze facility - level financial statements, providing insightful analysis relative to financial results

Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure accuracy and reliability

Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and partner with key stakeholders on the resolution of outstanding items

Train and mentor accountants and experienced accountants to ensure appropriate and continued development and coaching

Use of independent judgment and analytical skills in resolution of inquiries

Exhibit leadership skills through coaching, critical self-review, motivation, self-confidence , and self-discipline

Assist and drive team and company initiatives

Qualifications

BS in Accounting or Finance required

CPA preferred

3 - 5 + years of experience in corporate or public accounting; healthcare or mergers and acquisitions experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact with all levels of management and facility personnel

USD $85,000.00/Yr. USD $95,000.00/Yr.
