Responsibilities At the GS-12 you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the full performance level (GS-13) you will perform the following: You will perform IT systems analysis to identify technical requirements that support knowledge and information management (KM/IM) capabilities. You will evaluate existing and emerging technologies and provides recommendations that enhance KM/IM system functionality, integration, interoperability, and user experience. You will identify opportunities to improve information availability, sharing, and decision support. Designs and maintains logical site structures, permissions, workflows, automated solutions, dashboards, and content repositories that support knowledge sharing and mission execution. You will provide technical training, facilitation, and user assistance to ensure personnel understand and can effectively use platforms, workflows, and information-governance practices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled. Examples of specialized experience include some of the following: 1) Planning, implementing and administering information and knowledge management practices, processes, and tools; 2) Evaluating existing and emerging technologies and providing recommendations that enhance system functionality and user experience; 3) Providing technical training, facilitation, and user assistance; and 4)Preparing and presenting briefings on information and knowledge management programs. GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector generating cyber operations or cybersecurity evaluation strategies. Examples of specialized experience include some of the following: 1) Assisting with planning, implementing and administering information and knowledge management practices, processes, and tools; 2) Aiding in the evaluation of existing and emerging technologies and providing recommendations that enhance system functionality and user experience; 3) Assisting with technical training, facilitation, and user assistance; and 4) Preparing and presenting briefings on information and knowledge management programs. Additional Information This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 752 Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner, Advanced level the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 22.21% will be added to the stated salary. Several vacancies may be filled.
