Customer Service Representative

Location: Muscle Shoals, AL (In-Person)

Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Duration: Temporary assignment through mid-June 2026 (potential for temp-to-hire)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent position. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

The Customer Service Representative serves as a product specialist and key liaison, ensuring customers receive accurate information, timely support, and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional and courteous customer support via phone, email, and written correspondence

Prepare and deliver accurate quotes; follow up on outstanding quotes in a timely manner

Provide order status updates to customers and internal teams

Enter orders accurately within 24 business hours

Process purchase orders, including verification of custom specifications and documentation

Handle warranty claims and replacement orders as the primary point of contact

Assist Accounts Receivable with researching and resolving claims, credits, and debits

Maintain organized customer records and files

Support the sales team with account research, performance analysis, and presentations

Perform additional duties as needed to support team and company goals

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

3-5 years of experience in a customer service or fast-paced customer contact environment preferred

Strong basic mathematical skills required

Experience working with South American countries is highly desired

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer)

Experience with Epicor ERP, Goldmine CRM, and QuoteWerks is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to handle customer concerns diplomatically with a business mindset

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

Work Environment

Must be able to sit for significant periods of time

Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
