Description: As a Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team in Courtland, AL, you will help lead the production of advanced missile defense technology. You will drive the improvement of manufacturing processes, support production operations, and contribute to a team that strengthens national security. This role blends technical expertise with managing a team of manufacturing engineers in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Active Secret security clearance

Experience with Final Assembly manufacturing environment

Experience with Design for Manufacturing to implement process improvements and ensure a producible product

Familiar with Creo, Windchill, SAP to optimize production processes and improve efficiency

Familiar with initial setup of a production line

Basic understanding of MBOM and Work Instruction creation/maintenance

Desired Skills:

Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or missile defense programs

Ability to tailor level of effort based on customer requirements and expectations

Leadership experience in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment

Basic understanding of program management principles

Ability to act as a liaison between subcontractors, internal teams and program counterparts

Experience working in a classified area

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
