What You'll Do

As a Construction Technician, you'll assist with a variety of construction and mechanical-related tasks that help projects run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities may include:

Assisting skilled tradespeople with installation and jobsite tasks

Handling tools, materials, and equipment

Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as needed

Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites

Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE

Learning trade skills through hands-on, on-the-job experience

No two days are the same, and you'll be exposed to multiple aspects of construction with opportunities to specialize as you grow.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

Entry-level construction, labor, or hands-on work experience (or strong willingness to learn)

Valid driver's license

Ability to work safely in active jobsite environments

Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience in construction, mechanical work, or skilled trades

Familiarity with basic hand tools

Interest in building a long-term career in construction

Work Environment

Active construction job sites

Safety-first culture

Required PPE: steel-toe boots, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, safety glasses

Must Have Before Starting:

Steel-toe boots

Tape measure

Basic hand tools (training on job-specific tools provided)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nevada, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
