Job Description:

At Regions, the Commercial Evaluation Group (CEG) Commercial Real Estate Evaluator performs analyses and evaluations on low complexity commercial properties.

Primary Responsibilities

Works with team to analyze commercial properties to estimate the market value of collateral pledged against real estate loans

Works with vendor managers, relationship managers, underwriters, and other bank associates to ensure that evaluation requests are submitted in the RIMS system with accurate information

Controls and assists in mitigating risk within the CEG

Recommends solutions and solves issues regarding collateral analyzed and valued

May impact decisions regarding collateral to be pledged to real estate secured loans

Utilizes Sales Comparison and Income Analyses in the valuations of commercial properties

Offers advice and guidance to junior evaluators on occasion

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related field

Two (2) years of experience in real estate analysis, underwriting, or appraisal

Basic understanding of real estate terminology and valuation methods

Ability to utilize data analysis and selection in the estimation of values

Ability to perform low complexity valuations on commercial properties using applicable analyses

Skills and Competencies

Ability to learn additional systems as needed

Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts

Ability to work under moderate guidance

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
