Job Summary
The Financial Management Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of assigned investment management agency and IRA relationships within Thrivent Trust.
This role encompasses conducting essential administrative functions along with maintaining regular contact with clients and their financial advisors.
The Financial Management Officer proactively seeks, develops, and maintains client relationships by networking and collaborating with the business development team to acquire new clients.
This role also works closely with financial advisors to identify and pursue new business opportunities, both within and outside the organization.
It is important to have a strong understanding of each client's unique needs to identify opportunities for cross-selling, presenting personalized solutions that enhance the value offered.
Continuously reviewing the client base to uncover growth and revenue opportunities, consolidating outside accounts by integrating Thrivent Trust offerings and ensuring clients receive comprehensive, tailored support is critical.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Provide high-quality service to existing clients (and Financial Advisors) and develop new relationships to promote the growth and profitability of Thrivent Trust.
Provide consistent, exceptional client service in both written and verbal communication. This can be face-to-face, over the telephone or via Teams or Zoom meetings.
Engage in client meetings as a key relationship contact.
Manage client requests for Agencies and IRAs
Coordinate with external partners (Attorneys, CPAs), and internal support partners (Compliance, Investments, and Middle Office) to ensure accurate, timely and efficient administration and to manage risk.
Adhere to external regulations including the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), internal standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Call on current and potential clients to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Job Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
Minimum of 3 years trust administration, financial services, wealth management or related experience.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and video conferencing platforms.
Strong client service or customer service experience.
Basic knowledge of investment products.
Approximately 5% travel is required to meet prospective clients, attend meetings, support business development, and cultivate long-term partnerships through client and committee engagement.
Preferred:
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) designations or other financial certifications supported and encouraged.
Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) regulatory experience.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $81,537.00 - $110,315.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
