Life doesn't always follow a fixed schedule. That's why we created the Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer - Truck Gate in Fontana, CA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.32 / Hour

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, processing visitors, and documenting deliveries, contractors, and/or other authorized guests.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels and completing required reports.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.

Support day-to-day access control operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

CPR certification is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
