As a Security Officer - Patrol in Aberdeen, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to concerns with clear communication, and document observations using site procedures. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.

Monitor access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and directing traffic flow for trucks and deliveries according to site procedures.

Operate and observe security-related systems such as CCTV, intrusion alarms, and radio communications, and complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card/license is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
