Job Title: Events/Marketing Assistant

Location: Lynchburg, Virginia

Type: Contract

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 20-25 hours per week, M-F 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Flexible)

Responsibilities:

Assist in corporate event planning, including managing logistics for conferences and events

Coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through professional office correspondence

Utilize various software platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook/Calendar

Support problem-solving initiatives related to event organization and office workflows

Requirements

3-5 years of related office work experience required

Experience in corporate event planning or logistics management is a plus

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook/Calendar

Professional writing and editing skills

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to various software platforms

Temporary position from approximately April 20 to October 1
