Job Title: Winding Assembler

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for winding coils according to specifications, setting up tooling and machines for winding, and performing in-process inspections. You will also request materials from the stockroom when necessary, install wires and wedges, insert insulation, and connect wires. Additional duties include wrapping and forming, repairing and reworking sub-assemblies, disassembling, and rebuilding sub-assemblies or units as needed. You will be assembling up to 10 products a day.

Responsibilities

Wind coils per print specifications.

Set up tooling and machine for winding.

Perform in-process inspection.

Request material from stockroom if necessary.

Install wires and wedges.

Insert insulation and connect wires.

Wrap and form components.

Perform repair and rework of sub-assemblies.

Disassemble and rebuild sub-assemblies or units as needed.

Assemble up to 10 products daily.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
