Overview: We are seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant in our Immigration Department. The position involves working in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment assisting immigrants navigate the US immigration system. Key Responsibilities Include: Providing legal administrative support to immigration attorneys and paralegals; answering phones and liaising with clients; responsible for heavy scheduling of both internal and external meetings; entering data to, including docketing and other case related deadlines, and running reports from our Immigration case management system; keeping client records organized using department naming conventions and firm approved case management systems; entering critical information into multiple systems; finalizing detailed submissions to be sent to the Immigration Service; timely preparing expense reimbursements and processing invoice for payments; ability to learn and work with advanced AI-enabled technology programs to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Our Ideal Candidates Will Have: Candidates must be detail-oriented, have ability to work in fast-paced work environment, excellent technical and administrative skills, have cross-cultural communication skills, ability to collaborate and work in a team and process-oriented environment, and possess a strong interest in working with all @types of immigrants (from highly educated professionals, investors, and international artists to skilled workers and refugees.) Advanced skills in Microsoft 2010 Suite, particularly Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, and high attention to detail are required. 1 - 2 years' experience and/or BA degree preferred but not required. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
