This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Establish, maintain, and validate employee payroll records to support accuracy, completeness, and multi-state compliance. Process regular, off-cycle, and special payrolls, including final pay for terminations, retroactive adjustments, and payroll corrections. Calculate, review, and record payroll earnings, taxes, and deductions in accordance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. Administer involuntary deductions such as garnishments, levies, child support, and tax liens, ensuring accurate setup, timely remittance, and ongoing compliance. Execute routine payroll processing activities for regular and off-cycle payrolls in accordance with established timelines and internal controls. Follow documented payroll procedures, checklists, and approval workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Maintain well-organized payroll documentation and supporting records; provide requested data and explanations to internal stakeholders and external partners as needed. Serve as a contact for employee payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and issue resolution, delivering professional, responsive, and confidential service. Partner closely with the People & Culture team to coordinate payroll activities related to new hires, terminations, benefit changes, and leave administration. Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll, compensation, and employee information at all times, in compliance with company policies and data privacy requirements.YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment. Strong working knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll best practices. Hands-on experience with payroll systems; UKG experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis. * Experience preparing payroll reports
