Summary You will serve as an AIRCRAFT EXAMINER in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will determine the condition of the aircraft, aircraft engines, or component through functional tests and visual inspections. You will determine which components meet quality standards and decides which can be left on the aircraft and which must be removed to give access to other components. You will complete paperwork to effect proper routing and sequence of work through shops in accordance with decisions made on depth of overhaul required. You will perform minor trade work to facilitate inspections and evaluations. You will perform spot cleaning, degreasing and/or removal of bubbling or loose sealant, paint or corrosion preventative compounds (CPCs) if needed and reapplies removed CPCs as necessary. Complies with all required processes and instructions for proper documentation of aviation maintenance, removals, FOD free and prior-to-closure inspections, and all other quality and safety requirements as applicable.
