Role Overview

We are seeking an organized, proactive Assistant HR Manager to support our HR operations remotely. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility and autonomy in a flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, candidate communication)

Onboard new hires and manage documentation/digital employee files

Handle payroll preparation support and benefits administration

Maintain HR records, compliance documents, and reporting

Support performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution

Administer company policies, procedures, and internal HR communications

Coordinate training programs and track employee development

Assist with HR projects, audits, and process improvements

Serve as first point of contact for employee HR inquiries

Requirements

Knowledge of HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, employee relations)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Proficient in Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 and HRIS/ATS systems (any major platform)

Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Discreet, professional, and trustworthy with confidential information

Available for flexible hours (significant overlap with US time zones preferred)
