Summary You will serve as an AIRCRAFT OVERHAUL & REPAIR SUPERVISOR in the INDUSTRIAL EXECUTION DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. The incumbent will exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers of various series in accomplishing Aircraft and Component repair overhaul, modification, and manufacturing. Responsibilities You will be responsible for People, Processes, Facilities, Safety, Quality, Compliance, Planning, Assigning, Directing Work and Training Subordinates. You will receive general instructions on job assignments and deadlines from the IPT Lead and supervision from the Competency Manager. You will independently plan the use of resources to meet the requirements of special projects, increase/decrease in schedules, set priorities commensurate with the complexity of the work without losing sight of the regularly scheduled work. You will be responsible for the pre-positioning of workload and materials required accomplishing assigned tasks. You will communicate with the IPT verbally and in writing on the status of work, availability of manpower, material or equipment, on the workload assigned and the need for overtime and extra labor hours. You will coordinate the work of supporting shops to ensure that the outside resources are available and timely. You will work to resolve or to prevent problems with processes, materials or equipment shifts personnel within the shop or works with other supervisors, IPT and Competency to balance changing workload and personnel requirements.
