Accounts Receivable Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Redwood City, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial collections, cash applications, and customer billing within the healthcare industry. If you have over five years of relevant experience and excel in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.

Handle commercial collections by communicating effectively with clients to resolve outstanding balances.

Process cash applications and reconcile payments against invoices to maintain accurate financial records.

Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and enhance customer satisfaction.

Prepare detailed reports on receivables and collections performance for management review.

Monitor aging accounts and develop strategies to minimize overdue balances.

Assist in streamlining processes to improve efficiency within the accounts receivable function.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all financial transactions.

Provide exceptional customer service to resolve client inquiries related to billing and payments.

Support audits and prepare documentation for financial reviews as needed. Requirements - Minimum of five years of experience in accounts receivable, commercial collections, and cash applications.

Proficiency in managing billing functions and reconciling financial transactions.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally.

Familiarity with healthcare industry practices and regulations is preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and improve processes.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
