Accounting Clerk Job Responsibilities ERP, Inventory & Production Reporting Enter production, usage, and inventory data into ERP systems Audit Manufacturing Work Orders (WO) for accuracy and compliance Investigate variances and support corrective actions Train production staff on proper documentation procedures Manage and audit inventory adjustments from cycle counts Assist with physical inventory counts and discrepancy resolution Accounting & Financial Support Support monthly accounting close activities Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and system-generated reports Process daily customer invoicing and accounts payable transactions Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX internal controls Assist with routine accounting and financial reporting functions Administrative & Cross-Functional Collaboration Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation Scan, copy, and organize financial and operational files Partner with operations, shipping/receiving, and finance teams Support special projects and administrative tasks as needed

Accounting Clerk Qualifications Required: Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1-2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, OnBase, or similar) Strong attention to detail and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work additional hours during peak periods or month-end close Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Preferred Attributes: Knowledge of manufacturing accounting and inventory controls Self-motivated and capable of working independently Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
