Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will utilize technical skills and an understanding of business objectives to lead in a specific technical manufacturing discipline. This role involves taking ownership of complex technical tasks and requires the ability to anticipate and identify key issues, making creative recommendations for resolution. The resolution may involve applying new methods and approaches while considering the impact on other system components. Collaboration with peers and mentors is expected to confirm the rationale for task approaches and to review verification and validation activities.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex manufacturing engineering tasks.

Identify and resolve issues using creative and innovative solutions.

Collaborate with peers for task approach direction and review verification/validation activities.

Contribute to line capacity expansion, equipment qualification, and process validation.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering.

2-5 years of experience in an engineering discipline or equivalent advanced education.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply new methods and approaches.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the medical field is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite and requires working in a clean room environment 70% of the time, where the individual will need to be gowned. The remaining 30% of the time will be spent in the office completing documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minnetonka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
