Job Summary
Position Overview:
In this role, you will support project execution by developing, verifying, and maintaining accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) across proto@type, development, and validation builds. You will work closely with cross-functional partners including Design Engineering, Project Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service to ensure builds remain on schedule and aligned with project requirements. You will play a key role in change management by coordinating updates, tracking changes, and ensuring data accuracy throughout the product lifecycle. You will succeed by combining attention to detail with strong collaboration and communication skills. This role offers visibility across multiple project teams and the opportunity to contribute directly to successful vehicle builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and verify accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) with appropriate documentation
Perform BOM audits, validations, and follow-up actions to ensure ongoing accuracy
Structure and verify BOM data to support new model development
Implement and track BOM changes in support of project team execution
Partner with Design Engineering to ensure print revisions and BOM updates remain aligned
Create, manage, and maintain engineering change notices using PRS Windchill (Chunnel)
Develop and maintain SharePoint sites to support communication across project stakeholders
Track, expedite, and report on change notice status for assigned project teams
Assist Engineering with ordering parts for development and proto@type builds, as needed
Generate reports supporting production verification, SSCC audits, and homologation requirements
Support project leaders with pilot build planning and execution activities
Assist with communication and resolution of service parts issues and concerns
Maintain model lists for CCB reporting and support cross-departmental communication
Perform other duties as assigned to support project and business needs

Qualifications:
Two-year technical degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering, planning, or project support environment
Knowledge of Polaris products and BOM structures
Experience working with systems such as MAPICS and Powerlink
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PRS Windchill
Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive, team-focused approach
Ability to work with domestic and international partners, as applicable

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $63,000 to $83,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
