Administrative Assistant - Senior Level

Our client, a leading healthcare organization specializing in comprehensive perinatal care, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant Senior to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant Senior, you will be an essential part of the Department of Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital supporting nursing leadership and operational teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Senior Level

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay Range: $20.--22.00/hr.

Shift: 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Provide comprehensive administrative support to nursing leadership including calendar management and scheduling meetings

Assist with special projects, prepare reports, and develop presentation materials using Microsoft Office tools

Coordinate departmental meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes accurately

Manage payroll, attendance, and operational data with precision and confidentiality

Handle sensitive issues with diplomacy, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent

MUST have more than 4 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

At least 2 years of experience with scheduling and payroll

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and cloud storage platforms like Dropbox or Box

Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Able to comply with Michigan Medicine Compliance Requirements such as MMR, Varicella, TDaP, TB test, and an annual Influenza vaccine
