Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
· Manages and monitors property control operations across all OPH regions, central office, and parish health units, serving as the primary point of contact for property liaisons
· Ensures agency compliance with state property control regulations, including LPM requirements, through oversight, guidance, and corrective actions
· Coordinates and conducts annual property audits, including on-site inspections, audit reporting, and follow-up on inventory discrepancies and adjustments
· Oversees daily asset management activities within LaGov, maintaining accurate inventory records and processing updates, corrections, and approvals
· Administers the disposition of surplus property by reviewing requests, securing approvals, coordinating transfers, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance
· Develops and delivers statewide training on property management, inventory control, and property disposal procedures for OPH staff
· Serves as liaison with LDH Property Control, DOA-LPM Compliance Auditors, and surplus warehouse personnel to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
· Manages agency telecommunications services, including ordering, installation, relocation, troubleshooting, and disconnection of phone and data lines
· Coordinates telecommunications support for programs and offices statewide and provides training to ensure effective use of systems
· Supports administrative operations by maintaining records, adhering to retention schedules, providing reports and process improvement input, and delivering records management training statewide
