Nucor Buildings Group is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented candidates for the position of Senior Steel Detailer. This full-time, senior level role is responsible for drafting all components of a custom metal building including the steel framing, wall panel systems, roof panel systems, and all associated flashings and trims to ensure all components fit together correctly as part of a complete design solution.

Basic Job Functions:

The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:

Creating Electronic 3D models of custom-building systems using 3D drafting software

Generating Shop drawings and reports for in-house fabrication and production teams

Producing Erection drawings and bill of materials for field construction use

Checking work produced by other Detailer.

Minimum Requirements:

9+ years of pre-engineered metal building detailing experience

Proven experience mentoring and reviewing the work of teammates

Experience with Engineering Order Processing
