Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and controls supporting high-volume manufacturing operations. This role focuses on minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining safe, compliant electrical systems across production, utility, and facility operations

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on production machinery, and plant utilities, including motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems up to 480V to support continuous manufacturing operations

Diagnose failures using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and clamp meters

Install, modify, and maintain conduit, cable trays, wiring, panels, and electrical enclosures in an industrial setting

Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and technical documentation

Support PLC-controlled equipment by identifying electrical and I/O-related faults (programming support a plus, not required)

Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to restore equipment and implement long-term corrective actions

Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment histories within a CMMS or maintenance tracking system

Essential Skills

Proficiency in PLC, ladder logic, and RS Logic.

Experience with proximity switches, limit switches, VSD, and 480V motors.

Ability to troubleshoot and wire 480V motors.

3-5+ years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.

Experience working on overhead cranes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Goose Creek, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/yr.

9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr)

They can test every 6 months to test into higher tech level and get pay increase

Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage - very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview) $300 tool stipend each year All uniforms and PPE are provide by company, including prescription safety glasses Free clinic onsite for check ups or any issues that happen during the day Quarterly bonus up to 10% of what they have made in total that quarter. This is based on company profitability. They currently are averaging 4-6% per quarter

o Quarter bonus is tied to attendance.

HUGE on promoting from within. They have a ton of supervisors/managers who have been there for 30-40 years and nearing retirement. This is agreat opportunity for people coming in to train and develop themselves for those roles If you work 6 days in a row, on your 6th day you are paid x1.75. If you work 7 days in a row, your 7th day is double pay Perfect attendance raffle every month to win a $250 gift cart Food trucks onsite every day Vacation: Start out immediately at 80 hours. 3 years, 152 hours, 5 years - 175 hours, 10 years - 192 hours, 15 years - 208 hour
