Kelly Services is hiring an MRP Controller / Operational Buyer in Farmington, CT!

If you have experience with MRP, production planning, or ERP systems , this role puts you at the center of manufacturing operations. You'll play a critical role in ensuring materials are planned, ordered, and delivered on time to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

You'll join a fast-paced, collaborative team working closely with production, logistics, and suppliers , where organization, communication, and process-driven work are key to success and long-term growth.

What You'll Do

Manage MRP planning activities within SAP or an ERP system to support production demand

Release planned orders and convert them into production orders

Reschedule machine assembly and sub-assembly orders based on delivery timelines

Align material flow to support production schedules and prevent delays

Reassign materials as needed to meet changing production priorities

Monitor and resolve material shortages to minimize production impact

Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers

Track and manage supplier order confirmations and delivery schedules

Partner with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material movement

Investigate and resolve inventory and material movement discrepancies

Ensure all production orders are accurate, updated, and properly closed in the system

What You'll Bring

2+ years of experience in MRP, production planning, or buyer support within manufacturing

Experience working in SAP preferred (open to other ERP systems)

Strong understanding of work orders, material flow, and production environments

Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams and vendors

Process-oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy

Tech-savvy and comfortable working within systems and data

Schedule & Pay

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Full-Time

$26.00-$30.00/hr DOE | Weekly Pay

Long Term Temp | Fully Onsite
