Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will manage operations and personnel involved in the safe manufacturing of metal E Rings. You will utilize standard measuring devices and gauges, and ensure the safe use of all manufacturing equipment throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures.

Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to manufacture completed parts.

Read and interpret work instructions.

Communicate with others on work order status and completion of work.

Perform assembly and inspection tasks.

Essential Skills

Experience as a Machine Operator and Assembler.

Proficient in inspection processes.

Mechanically inclined.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to read and write English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma.

Basic math skills.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

You will work with other E Ring Associates, Manufacturing Leads, and Manufacturing Support. The position involves frequent standing and walking, using hands to operate machines and measuring devices, and computer usage. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Regular attendance, cooperation, and professionalism are expected. Shifts include: 1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F), 2nd shift (3 PM - 12 AM M-Th and 3 PM - 7 PM Friday), and 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM Sun-Thurs).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
