Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Irvine, California. This Contract position offers an exciting opportunity to manage critical financial operations, including invoicing, payment processing, and credit management. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounts receivable activities.

Responsibilities:

Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly and accurately.

Record payments, verify documentation, and apply transactions such as checks, wires, and credit cards to customer accounts.

Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of prospective clients to establish appropriate credit limits.

Manage overdue accounts by initiating collections efforts and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Reconcile accounts receivable balances, identify discrepancies, and ensure alignment with general ledger records.

Address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues while delivering high-quality service.

Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and other financial summaries for internal stakeholders.

Identify and implement improvements to invoicing, payment, and collection processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations across all accounts receivable tasks

Requirements - 5-7 years of accounts receivable experience within a mid-sized organization.

Expertise in accounting software, specifically Aptean Apparel Full Circle.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex account discrepancies.

Familiarity with accounts receivable principles and best practices.

Experience using automated vendor onboarding and credit check systems, such as Riemer Reporting Service, is a plus.

Knowledge of merchant services tools like CyberSource, Snap Pay, or Get Paid platforms is advantageous.
