Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Lead, Marketing Operations for HCP Engagement is responsible for operationalizing and executing Cordis' Healthcare Professional (HCP) Engagement strategy across the Americas. This role is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Healthcare Professional (HCP) Engagement programs. This role maintains hands-on ownership of operational processes (e.g., contracting, payments, and program coordination) while operating with increased autonomy and responsibility in-market. This role requires collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring all activities are compliant, efficient, and aligned with company processes and standards.
Responsibilities:
Translate physician engagement strategy into actionable plans across the Americas, aligning programs with clinical, commercial, and innovation priorities
Lead execution and continuous improvement of key components of the HCP engagement programs, ensuring all activities adhere to budget, timeline, scope, and regulatory requirements.
Serve as the primary on-site lead for regional and local physician engagement events, ensuring seamless execution and acting as the key point of contact for stakeholders and HCPs
Oversee onboarding and payment setup for new suppliers, ensuring alignment with company procurement policies
Responsible for payment tracking and reporting, requesting proof of payments and monthly cross reference checks with HCP's and business stakeholders across the business
Manage operational processes related to HCP engagement, including contracts, purchase orders, and payment tracking in partnership with Compliance, Legal, and Finance
Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Medical Education, Clinical Affairs, and R&D to ensure cohesive and impactful engagement strategies
Maintain and update HCP databases (including a Master Faculty Workbook and other tracking tools), documentation systems, and engagement records to ensure accuracy and accessibility with strategic deployment of faculty across programs
Provide guidance and recommendations to senior leaders based on physician feedback, program performance, and in-market experience
Track and report on key performance metrics for physician engagement, using data to inform recommendations and continuous improvement
Execute various project management and administrative tasks that support cross-functional objectives and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in HCP engagement, marketing operations, or related roles within a regulated industry (medical device, pharma, biotech preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or related field.
Combined education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Expected Areas of Competencies:
Ability to take long-term strategy and translate it into scalable programs and systems
Advanced project and program management skills across complex, matrixed environments
Proven experience with vendor management, contract coordination, and financial tracking.
Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP and contract management systems, such as Raindrop, AquityMD, or SalesForce. Must have Adobe Sign experience.
Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. compliance regulations (e.g., Sunshine Act, AdvaMed Code of Ethics) and experience supporting HCP programs.
Qualifications:
Ability to travel domestically estimated 30% travel
Experience working with HCPs, contracts, and compliance in a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences setting preferred.
