Position Overview

This position will provide hosting operations support for all System/Application related up/down enterprise management activities & network-related within the Data Center and remote customer locations. This position will require strong technical skills infrastructure along with customer interaction to coordinate operations & configuration activities.

Key Responsibilities

· MS Azure Fundamentals

· MS Azure Data Fundamental

· Understand ITSM / ITIL process

· Following Agile practices (stand-ups, demos, backlog grooming)

· Write clear status updates and documentation

· Participate in peer Implementation/configuration reviews and learning sessions

· Work on day-to-day CTASKs & TRTs completion activities

· Monitor and check tickets in queue & take defined action

· Understand Windows or Linux with strong skills in the other platform

· Knowledge of the entire technology stack: Compute, Storage, VMware, Networking, Database, Monitoring etc.

· Understand scripting background, ITIL Processes, ability to drive the project E2E with apt work pressure handling for deadlines, ability to coordinately work with different teams to complete the project

· Configure, administer, and operate highly scalable, available, and elastic solutions that implement industry best practices using Microsoft Azure and other Cloud service providers

· Basic scripting knowledge - PowerShell, Python. etc

· Understand Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning operational Practices

· Understand working on solutions ServiceNow, Solarwinds, Pure Storage, Commvault,

· MS SCOM, SPLUNK and many other related tools

· Help SMEs for design and develop professional-quality scripts and supporting documentation that deploys resource stacks in an automated repeatable fashion

· Work in enterprise configuration for UNIX & Windows infrastructure operations

· Manage and maintain the implementation to support customer activities

· Analyze data collected by the enterprise platforms

· Administer Cloud environment from the Azure command line and the Web portal

· Provide operating system server administration in a virtualized Cloud environment (Windows & Linux)

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

· Minimum of High School diploma and/or an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Certifications:

· PowerShell/Python Introduction Certification

· AL/ML related certifications

· CompTIA Storage+ certification

· Microsoft Certification for Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

· CompTIA Network+ certification

· Microsoft Certification for Azure Database Administrator Associate

Location

New hires will be hired at the Cognizant office in Englewood, CO where you will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions. Applicants must be willing to relocate to this major geographic area. While we attempt to honor candidate location preferences, business needs and position availability will determine final location assignment.

Start Date

New hires will start in April 2026 . While we will attempt to honor candidate start date preferences, business need and position availability will determine final start date assignment. Exact start date will be communicated with enough time for you to plan effectively.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

The annual salary for this position is $65,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
