Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and inventory management industry, is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to join their team. As a Warehouse Inventory Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Location: Jessup, MD

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 1st / Day

What's the Job?

Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory counts through cycle counting and other assigned duties.

Conduct regular warehouse cycle counts, addressing discrepancies and product integrity issues.

Perform quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items in collaboration with Merchandising.

Investigate causes of weight variances, receiving issues, and damaged products resulting from warehouse movements.

Monitor FIFO items to ensure proper rotation and verify reserve records and counts.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent required.

At least 2 years of inventory control experience preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry skills required.

Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and basic math competency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
