Pay Rate: $26/hour

Shift: 1st (Contract for 1 year, with possibility of extension)

What's a typical day as Accounting Clerk? You'll be:

Performing highly complex clerical accounting duties, including routine and non-routine calculations, analysis, reconciliations, verifications, and postings to ensure accuracy and validity in accounting processes.

Collating and analyzing data using preset tools, methods, and formats, often working independently.

Providing support and guidance to others to maximize the use of data management systems.

Creating and maintaining local document management systems for the department or office.

Preparing moderately complex documents using standard office software and technology devices.

Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing data to generate standard reports and support decision-making.

Monitoring financial data using established systems and protocols, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Staying up-to-date on organizational standards, industry best practices, and relevant regulations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have post-secondary non-tertiary education in accounting or a related field.

Bring 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience, with the ability to work unsupervised.

Possess strong computer, data collection, and analysis skills.

Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and compliance management abilities.

Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in planning, costing, and budgeting.

Are committed to ongoing professional development and learning.
